“We are leaders in social TV” says TF1, After Launching iPad, iPhone Apps

The French private broadcaster TF1 has launched a dedicated app for both iPhone and iPad, giving access to streaming live content, on-demand catch-up TV and bonus content.

According to Broadband TV News,  the TF1 Vision app will offer at least 80 hours a week of fresh programming, “representing the variety and richness of TF1′s programme grid”. The app comes free of charge. Furthermore the application offers social media integration through its TF1&Vous functionality, connecting the channel to Facebook. TF1 claims it is the most popular European company on Facebook with over four million fans.
