French Transmedia event Cross Video Days has just launched its call for entries and is looking for Transmedia projects to be co-produced or distributed from all over Europe, including web documentaries, web fiction, web series, web TV and social TV.
Some 20 projects will be selected and invited to pitch in front of around 600 participants during the event, which will take place in Paris on 12-13 June 2012. The main players in the cross and Transmedia markets such as BBC, Orange, Youtube, Arte, France Télévisions, FremantleMedia will attend and one-to-one business meetings with European commissioners will also be set up.
The event will also be organised around a set of various conferences about the most recent evolutions in the audiovisual sector such as digital storytelling, connected TV, brand content, interactivity... on all platforms and screens. It will also showcase the most innovative European transmedia projects.
The deadline for submitting a project 10 April.
