Digitalsmiths, a leader in personalized video discovery technology, received its fourth Streaming Media Readers Choice Award after Streaming Media readers voted Digitalsmiths Seamless Discovery® the best Search and Discovery Platform. The win comes on the heels of other recent industry honors for the company including being named to the Streaming Media 100, the OnHollywood 25 Companies to Watch, and the Inc. 5000.
Presented in Los Angeles at Streaming Media West, the Readers Choice Awards recognize companies that are delivering superior services and solutions in video streaming. This years contest attracted over 58,000 votes from Streaming Media readers, the end users of the online video technology covered by the publication. Digitalsmiths edged out two other finalists to take home the Search and Discovery Platform award for Digitalsmiths Seamless Discovery.
We are honored to again be recognized for delivering the leading video search and recommendations platform, said Ben Weinberger, Digitalsmiths CEO. All of our recent acknowledgements are a reflection of our proven track record in helping companies across the video space drive engagement and revenue through superior personalized discovery experiences.
Streaming Medias editorial and publishing staff also recently recognized Digitalsmiths with a spot on the Streaming Media 100, an exclusive list of the companies that are doing the most interesting, innovative and important work in online video streaming. According to Streaming Media Editor Eric Schumacher-Rasmussen, the Streaming Media 100 separates, the fly-by-nights from the ones with staying power, and the has-beens from the veteran companies that continue to innovate and grow not just their customer base but the industry as a whole.
In addition to its Streaming Media honors, Digitalsmiths earned a place on the OnHollywood 25 Companies to Watch list, which identifies companies that are disrupting Hollywood entertainment with game-changing approaches and technologies, and broke into the top 1000 on Inc. Magazines list of the nations fastest-growing private companies.
