Fanatix Launches Tickets Platform

After recently passing the 500,000 download mark across its mobile applications for sports fans, Fanatix has revealed its latest offering: tickets.

Fanatix – the rapidly expanding social network for sports fans – has launched a service for sourcing tickets to top sporting events across the globe. Fanatix tickets searches the web for tickets from trusted agencies, listing more than 1.8m tickets for more than 20,000 sporting events in over 35 countries.

From Barclays Premier League tickets to tickets for this weekend's Super Bowl, users can use the service to check availability and prices for tens of thousands of sporting events across the globe.

Tickets are available for premier European football including top matches in La Liga, Serie A, Bundelsiga, Eredivisie and Ligue 1. Other top sporting events coming up 2013 include this summer's Ashes series, the British and Irish Lions Tour, Wimbledon Tennis Championships at the All England club and the forthcoming RBS Six Nations and many more sporting events in more than 35 countries. The service will offer sports fans the opportunity to find tickets for major sporting events with the added bonus of only listing tickets from a number carefully vetted sites, offering full buyer protection. This marks another significant move as Fanatix looks to increase its offering to sports fans.
