TeevoxThere are many iPhone applications that turn the device into a TV remote.
Teevox differs in this that it allows users to control Hulu and Netflix watching on your computer.

Teevox is founded by former MIT students Jong-Moon Kim and Andrew Sugaya, funded by Ycombinator as reported by TechCrunch.

One of the unique differentiators is the following, as elaborated by Jong-Moon Kim:
“While there are hundreds, if not thousands of iPhone remote apps. If you take a closer look, you’ll notice they all require proprietary hardware (Apple TV, Boxee) or separate software you need to download and install.”

Meaning that no extra setup is required with Teevox.
