yap.TV today announced the release of version 2.0 of its popular social TV application by the same name, now shipping for iPhone and iTouch. yap.TV delivers a unique experience for fans that love TV shows by offering a full picture-based TV show guide, streaming tweets for every show, Twitter client features, interactive polls, show favorites with show times, and much more.

Notably in this release, and unique in the market, is the "living room" group chat feature that makes it easy for show fans to yap with their friends or other show fans in real-time across iPad, iPhone, and iTouch devices. This feature greatly advances the user experience by making real-time conversation around popular shows a snap.

yap.TV is focused on developing real-time features that create fun, shared experiences around TV content for TV fans, as demonstrated by interactive features like polls, Twitter and Facebook social network integration, and group "living rooms."

yap.TV launched on the iPad this September to much fanfare, and hosted a live event with Apple co-founder Steve "Woz" Wozniak and TV show fans of "The Big Bang Theory" to yap about his guest appearance, a first in the social TV space.
