We need votes and support! If you have some time and want to see the topics of Second Screen and Orchestrated Media tapped into with a fresh, diverse (international, multiracial, multigender) panel from both sides of the Atlantic feel free to click here, signup, vote and share!

Help us out by signing up and giving us a thumbs up for panel proposition at SXSW 2013 which includes a diverse panel including:

The panel ties in with Interactive session on Temporal Metadata and Monetizing 2nd Screen TV with a panel of industry experts debating on the evolution of Social TV and 2nd Screen to a more comprehensive TV companion experience including Communication (TVoip), Commerce (tCommerce and micropayments), Community (Live events), Transmedia (narrative shift), Gamification (vote, win, predict), Personalisation (algorithms), Context (companion apps) and Social TV (discovery and dissemination). In-depth, international look at European, US and global solutions and perspectives from panel representing Canada, USA, UK and Holland. The small screens (Smartphones, Tablets, Laptops) are taking more eyeballs from the big screen during 30 second spots. How will the current TV value chain, underpinned by brand spot advertising based on archaic, legacy audience measurement systems stay relevant with new gatekeepers, smarter devices and software, and new consumer behaviour such as media stacking?

Questions we want to address:

  1. Is there more to the Future of TV than Social TV?
  2. Will the Smart TV App portal become a destination or will discovery move to the smaller companion screens and devices?
  3. Will the 30 second spot decline except for live news TV as we move to a world of TV Everywhere and VOD/Catchup?
  4. Are brands going to continue to pump 200 billion globally into 30 second spots when they are being more and more irrelevant?
  5. Will temporal Metadata curation and creation play a larger role in the future of TV? Is it the new oil as some predict?
