Telescope, a company that powers real-time participation experiences across entertainment, sports and advertising, has entered into an agreement with Viggle, the entertainment marketing and rewards platform that rewards entertainment fans for watching TV and listening to music. As part of their partnership, Viggle will integrate Telescope’s Connect platform, which will power Viggle’s “Viggle LIVE” real-time trivia game that complements multiple television shows per day.
“Combining our industry-leading play-along mechanics and social engagement tools with Viggle’s loyalty rewards program creates a truly differentiated experience in the increasingly competitive second-screen space,” said Jason George, CEO of Telescope. “By merging capabilities, we create both a richer experience layer for Viggle users and a more valuable advertising experience for brands and sponsors.”
The partnership will further allow Viggle the capability to distribute Telescope’s play-along mechanics and products across the Viggle platform, while also integrating Viggle Points into engagement experiences created for networks and content providers alike.
