telescopevizrtTelescope and Vizrt offer platform for real-time aggregate results and avatar graphics to be displayed live during in-broadcast and in-studio television production.

“Now, more than ever, audiences want to be not only heard, but seen as well,” said Petter Ole Jakobsen, CTO of Vizrt. “By leveraging Telescope’s robust social engagement platform in combination with our real-time visualization technology, we’re able to provide fans with capabilities to become further involved with their favorite shows and the stars they love.”

Telescope, Inc., an award-winning technology company that powers real-time participation experiences across entertainment, sports and advertising, today announced a partnership with Vizrt in the burgeoning social TV space. Vizrt is a provider of real time 3D graphics, studio automation, sports analysis and asset management tools for the broadcast industry.

The partnership will see Vizrt’s social TV solution utilize the Telescope platform to filter and curate television-driven conversations across social networks and display them with their real-time audience visualization platform.  The visualization tool is already available to all Vizrt and Telescope clients.

Together, the two companies have created a number of graphical display products that provide broadcast clients with a turnkey solution that unlocks the capability to deploy campaigns quickly and easily both live to air and in-studio. The first fruits of the partnership were launched with “American Idol,” which brought moderated Facebook avatar pictures together to create real-time visualizations   for the live show.

The partnership will also unlock the capability for clients to curate profile information and user-generated content from a range of social networks.“As broadcasters, event producers, and content creators increasingly look for ways to drive audience engagement and keep their viewers participating in real time, there is an increasing need to reflect audience interactivity back into the core content on the primary screen – providing audiences at home their “15 minutes of fame,” said Jason George, CEO of Telescope. “Our partnership with Vizrt will allow us to offer a global, end-to-end solution that will meet customers’ needs in this rapidly-evolving space.”

In combining Telescope’s platform with Vizrt’s visualization technology, content providers, producers, and media companies will be able to cull the engagement of their audiences across social platforms, presenting it in real time for instant feedback. These same audience engagement tools from Telescope drive consumer interactivity for leading brands including the NBA, NASCAR, and primetime television shows such as NBC’s “The Voice.”
