operasoftwareToday, Opera Mediaworks' leading ad serving and programmatic monetization platform for mobile, AdMarvel, introduces Facebook© Audience Network (FAN) as a Certified SDK bundle to its mobile publishers.

Earlier this year, Opera Mediaworks expanded its programmatic offering to include a real-time-bidding (RTB) component to its Mobile Advertising Exchange (OMAX 2.0) that brings advertisers, agency trading desks, DSPs, SSPs, publishers and app developers together into a premium and brand safe marketplace allowing programmatic buying and selling at scale.

"As Opera Mediaworks continues to be the leading unified end-to-end platform, servicing the entire advertising value chain, I am particularly excited to provide our premium publisher base with yet another source of ad revenue," says Mark Fruehan, President, Global Publisher Services, Opera Mediaworks. "This is in addition to the 140+ mobile-focused ad networks, DSPs, and agency trading desks connected to AdMarvel today where publishers have full control and visibility to filter what categories of ads appear on their apps."

With the launch of FAN, mobile publishers using the AdMarvel service will now also have instant access to Facebook's massive advertiser base showing ads from a diverse set of local and global brands that want to show the right ad, to the right person, at the right time.

The ads come in three formats: standard IAB banners, standard IAB interstitials, and native ad units. Facebook says the ads are "designed to help marketers meet key business objectives, like driving app installs and engagement."

By integrating FAN as a Certified AdMarvel SDK bundle, Facebook advertisers can track engagements and conversions driven by FAN ads, plus demographic info and other stats about their audience.
