That has been proved at Blinkbox, the online movie service that is majority owned by supermarket giant Tesco, since it expanded beyond the PC and PlayStation 3 this year. Michael Comish, CEO and Co-Founder at the company, says the move into Connected TV accounts for a big chunk of the 2.5 fold increase in year-on-year retail revenues. He believes tablets will also improve buy rates compared to the PC as his company looks to reach a wider market through more screens.
